Ok, forget the “this weekend” part. Histology- sadly- wins. Let’s just say that every single post will contain at least one drabble until they are all done. As you see, I’m a dork and the one hundred words part gets eaten by the “ooooh I want to write more of this” part. Yes, you can still ask for one. Yes, lurkers can ask for one too.

Morning
(For [info]etrangere, Gohou Drug: Rikuou/Kazahaya)

He wakes up and instantly knows something is off. A quick check of his surroundings confirms that he is safely in his room and dressed in his pajamas; not in a bridal gown and being chased by a horde of fanboys as his latest nightmares suggest. Apparently that particular job- even if the pay was extremely good- is going to haunt him forever. He is sure Rikuou has taken the habit of humming a bridal march as he works only to torture him.

Rikuou is also noticeably absent and it takes less than a minute to identify this as the missing element. In all the time he has worked in the drugstore, Kazahaya has always been awaken by Rikuou in the most annoying fashion. He has been screamed, thrown shoes (and many, many other items), soaked in cold water and even- one morning when Rikuou was feeling particularly creative- been decorated as a Christmas tree.

The floor is cold against his feet as he silently makes his way to Rikuou’s bed, behind the curtain that separates their “rooms”. The other boy is still asleep, his face relaxed into an almost smile. It’s too bad that he can’t look like this awake, thinks Kazahaya and then instantly berates himself because there’s no way he cares how the bane of his existence looks.

The clock in the small table near the bed marks an ungodly hour and Kazahaya marvels at the fact he awake, considering he is never been much of a morning person. The surprise quickly turns into glee as he toys with the idea of turning the tables and for once being the one who awakes the other. Throwing a book, a pillow or a frying pan are all tempting ideas, but he finally settles for something different.

Stealthily as he can, Kazahaya return to his own bed and gets under the covers. He is almost falling asleep again when- finally- a soft creak warns him of Rikuou waking up. Trying to keep his breathing steady while he prepares to jump out of bed is extremely difficult. Rikuou is very close now and his muscles react at once.

*thump*

Somehow, he saw this going differently.

Kazahaya meant to hit Rikuou and hopefully scare him a little. He did not meant to end up on top of Rikuou, with the other staring at him as if he had sprouted a second head.

“What the hell is wrong with you?”

“What the hell is wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with you?! Throwing someone things is not a way of saying ‘good morning’!”

I didn’t jump on top of you.”

“You left me no choice! You are always so annoying!”

Rikuou eyes darken for a minute and, before Kazahaya knows how it happened, he is on his back. Rikuou’s face is close, too close. The room feels extremely warmer and he is unsure if Rikuou’s eyes have always been of such a deep shade.

“Kazahaya” Rikuou whispers softly against his ear and he feels the skin burn under hot breath. “I didn’t know you wanted me that badly”

He reddens immediately and the bastard laughs at his screams. The tension in the rooms seems to have dissipated and they are back in their old routine. When Rikuou tries to get up Kazahaya decides this morning is not going to end like all the others. Without much rational thought behind it, his hand grabs the shoulder above him and yanks downwards.

“That’s the second one this morning.” Says Kakei thoughtfully. “That’s different.”

Moments of silence follow and neither he nor Saiga make any attempt to hide the fact that they are trying to listen what happens upstairs. A very faint moan breaks the stillness, followed by a low laugh. A higher pitched voice protests and then abruptly quiets. Smalls thumps and crashes follow, accompanied by very clear moans.

“Well...” Saiga smile is more than a little suggestive and Kakei decides that taking a day off is a good idea. “It was about time.”

And, completely OT, but someone *has* to make a fanvid of Roy Mustang with “I’m too sexy” as background music. I can practically see it.... except that instead of “too sexy for my cat” it should be “too sexy for my dog”
